Very close to the Red Hook Complex (American Yacht Harbor), medical facilities (Red Hook Family Medical Group and Chelsea Drug Store), mail (Red Hook Mail Services) and plenty of dining, shopping and nightlife options, Villa Fratelli Cresta is also very convenient to area marinas, the car barges to St. John, and the ferries to St. John and the British Virgin Islands. Yet, within the electronic gates, you'll enjoy sumptuous accommodations and privacy.
The woods used for interior and exterior trim include the durable "greenheart" from Guyana, this wood stands up well to salt air, insects and moisture, and is so strong that standard tools cannot shape it. Solid masonry construction allows for privacy among the 3 villas (2, 2-bedroom units flank a third, which contains 3 bedrooms). Interior Designer Elizabeth Hall of local outlet Island Empire contributed greatly to the property's stylish interiors and exteriors. Caribbean art and objets appear throughout, to help create an eclectic tour for the eyes and spirit.
Guests renting one or two units will have shared access to the common areas including the outdoor patio (great for hosting events), a freshwater pool + hot tub, gazebo with wet bar, outdoor grill, and fitness center with A/C on the lower level. Or, for larger parties (or exclusive use of the entire property), you may choose to book all three. All three villas have complete kitchens with modern appliances, laundry, climate-controlled A/C, ceiling fans, individual great rooms, and Wi-Fi internet access.
Villa Fratelli Cresta #2 is "St. Croix" (3BR)
The largest villa at the Villa Fratelli Cresta property is the St. Croix Villa, with 3 bedrooms: one on the main level, and two upstairs. Refreshing in its spaciousness and island themed, St. Croix contains modern interpretations of nature's most awesome wonders. Tropical colours, rattan, mahogany, teak and bamboo form the foundation for island living at its most splendid! Side caning, Baroque parlor lamps and a gold-accented mirror serve to reach back, engaging the modern with the authentic past.
The Cane Bay bedroom suite is just off the living area; a grand staircase in sturdy "Greenheart" wood wends upwards beneath a gilded chandalier, allowing your peaceful ascent to the upper level and two more suites via a catwalk, for a total of 3 in this villa.
The centerpiece for the kitchen, bar and dining area is a grand Tommy Bahama table for delightful culinary creations - you may enjoy dining indoors or yield to the temptation of your own outdoor veranda for meals out of doors. Your complete kitchen contains all you'll need to generate magical meals and refreshing potions.
Each of the "villas" opens out onto the relaxed curves that form the exterior environment: the 15,750 gallon freshwater pool and hot tub, grill, gazebo and outdoor wet bar and food preparation area.
