Golden Pavilion is an exquisite estate which is completely gated and situated on four acres. The home is a 5800 square feet, Balinese inspired masterpiece. It features stunning 180 degree ocean views. The villa is located on the northeast end of Tortola, just a 1 minute drive from the secluded Little Bay Beach. Golden Pavilion boasts of an accomplished staff including a boat captain and chef.
As you walk through the pagoda roofed portal into the villa's courtyard, a lily pond and Asian statuary are showcased. The ground level of the villa includes the great room and two separate wings. The east wing consists of the professional kitchen, granite counters, custom cabinetry and stainless steel Viking appliances. In the kitchen, your chef will prepare delicious lunches and dinners 6 days per week; for guests who are always on the go, this schedule may be modified with advance notice to accommodate all of your island adventures. Upon request you may have your groceries pre-stocked for your arrival. Groceries and gratuities are additional.
The family and media room with a home office, powder room and comfortable seating. The two king suites are both air conditioned and have screened French doors. The doors either access a terrace above the pool or a small garden terrace. The west wing of Golden Pavilion features the study, an expansive master suite and a smaller queen suite. The study is another area to enjoy a game, puzzle or to watch TV/movies. The master suite has a four poster king bed, sitting area and dressing room. The large bath includes a Jacuzzi bathtub, two vanities and two showers, indoor and alfresco.
French doors open to a terrace above the pool/hot tub deck and allows amazing sea views of White Bay and Monkey Point. The 4th bedroom (smaller queen suite) offers luxury linens and heavy drapery (as do all of the Golden Pavilion bedroom suites). French doors open onto the dining terrace, which leads to the pool and hot tub deck and spectacular, ocean view beyond. The covered dining area showcases a very large dining table for 10. Beyond the covered dining terrace, a few steps lead you to the tiled pool deck. An infinity edge pool, gas rotisserie grill, hot tub, chaise lounges, hammock chairs and stone fire pit will probably make this your favorite area of Golden Pavilion!
Back inside, stairs off the Great Room lead you to the gallery, an entertainment dream with satellite TV, pool table, wet bar, casual sofas/chairs, great sound system and windows with views. The cottage pavilion offers an air conditioned ground level complete with a gym. Upstairs you'll find a one bedroom apartment with a king size, air conditioned bedroom, full kitchen and living area.
Walking paths take you through Golden Pavilion's beautiful landscaping. One path will lead you to a bench above the ocean, perfect for winter sunsets. With four bedroom suites on one level and under one roof, a fifth room in a nearby cottage, abundant amenities, a personal chef, a villa manager that lives nearby, Golden Pavilion is quickly raising the bar for Tortola vacation rentals.
